Spotify wanted more people to use their app in the car. Everyone likes to sing in the car, and from that universal truth, we found an opportunity to offer drivers a completely new experience and keep Spotify top of mind. To ensure safety, we designed Spotify Karaoke only to record the user’s voice, so they aren’t distracted while driving.
